POLITICS

A fellowship for perspective

I have political beliefs.
I am not my
political beliefs.

More honesty. More perspective. More flexibility in how we think about politics.

TRUTH ABOVE TRIBE
Truth before victory.People before politics.Truth above tribe.

The idea

Keep politics in its place.

Politics is supposed to be something we think about. Somewhere along the way, for many of us, it became something we are.

Politics Anonymous is a peer fellowship for people who want to examine the relationship between their political beliefs and their identity.

We call this political defusion: making room between who we are and what we believe, so disagreement doesn’t have to feel like a personal attack.

Sound familiar?

  • I feel pressure to agree with my side.
  • I defend things I haven’t really examined.
  • I want room to think out loud.
  • Some part of my politics may be clouding my judgment.
  • I want to put truth above tribe.

You do not need to be moderate, independent, or less engaged. You only need a willingness to examine your beliefs honestly.

The fellowship

A place to examine ourselves.

We share experience. We do not diagnose, debate, correct, or persuade.
